I came home from a long day shopping for wedding items all over the Salt Lake Valley to find this in my backyard:
It’s hard to tell because some are hiding behind trees and the trailer but there were FOURTEEN grazing in my yard. I know this because I counted them as I ran out in the yard screaming like a crazy woman trying to make them leave. They ran across the street, whereupon a parade of cars stopped along the side of the street to gaze lovingly at the HUGE herd grazing in the field over there.
I’m guessing this is why each summer more of my plants are being eaten that were never before touched by deer. Grrr.
