Here are some pictures of Brian attending this year’s Lone Peak High School Prom. He was on Student Council this year and they planned the prom which was at the Utah State Capitol. Since he was partly in charge, Sue and I had the opportunity to chaperone.
Brian
Bye Bye Birdie
Lone Peak High School just closed its production of the musical "Bye Bye Birdie". Brian was in the ensemble as a teen and and adult and had lines as the mayor who gives the key to the city to the rock star, Conrad Birdie. He and his "wife" had some very funny stage business involving her fainting and him dragging her off-stage several times. They were very funny. This is the third show he has been in that involved him wearing aging makeup and gray in his hair.
Brian is Polonius
Brian had his picture in the paper today. He is playing the part of Polonius in the Shakespeare play "Hamlet". We saw it last night, and everyone did a great job. If you are local, you would probably enjoy it. Brian is very funny in his part and also did a great job. It is at Lone Peak High School at 7:00 and runs through Jan 29, except Saturday and Sunday.
Tuacahn 2007
This year we went down to Tuacahn to see “My Fair Lady”. We did the pre-show dinner because that’s become our tradition and watched the pre-show on the plaza. They had constructed some pretty awesome sets for this production. They made a large iron bridge that spanned the stage and was used for several things. It was the columns for the Covent Garden scenes below, it was the vantage point to see the Ascot race, it held up the Higgins house set, and was just really cool. They had horses do the race on the road in back of the stage and that was fun. Great show.
Brian’s Eagle Court of Honor

Brian is describing his Eagle project, where he made gifts to be sold in one of the gift shops at the Festival of Trees.
Brian is taking the Eagle pledge, given by one of his Scout leaders, Scott Hardy.
