Mark entered the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah this last Wednesday. The night before, he was set apart to be a missionary by our Stake President, President Nilson. We took some pictures afterwards.
Here is Sue putting Mark’s nametag on at the MTC. I guess it is a tradition for the mom to put the nametag on.
We found out that he will be in the MTC learning Spanish for a couple of months. His tentative departure date is July 9.
So you sent off your first Missionary. It is such mix of feelings. You feel happy and sad.
We love the missionaries in our area. They are a constant inspiration for us. It is amazing to us the depths of their testimonies. Tell Mark Brother and Sister welcome him to the greatest generation of missionaries when you email him.
