I had hoped to get “County Fair” to the end this week, but alas, it was not to be. I simply ran out of time & energy. Mostly because there’s a LOT of sashing in this. All those pieces between every block took a while to assemble. I got the stop border sides on last night before giving up. So the top borders & then the white? low volume? wider borders will go on & it will be done.
Not sure what is next, but hopefully I can get one more WIP done to meet my goal of 12 for the year. We’ll see. I’m sick now with a stupid virus, so sewing will slow down because my brain doesn’t want to work. Brain fog!
Hope your RSC2025 assembling is moving faster than mine!
Hope you feel better soon! This one will wait patiently for you. It’s okay to just get to 11 finishes for the year – that sounds good to me!
Your goal to complete 12 WIPs for the year is very admirable. So sorry to read that you have co e down with a nasty bug, hope you feel better soon. I picked up something similar after my coach trip, was sick for a week, but it took several more weeks to come completely right, and I still have the occasional cough.
Hope you are feeling better today. I got something about 3 weeks ago and it took me almost 2 weeks to get the energy back. Well done on 11-12 wips for the year! That was my goal too, but then my sewing machine broke and I was without a machine for two months. Hope to do better next year.
Sorry to hear that you’re not well, Sue. Hopefully you’ll be back at your sewing machine soon! Your quilt is coming together beautifully. I’m loving all the colorful X-block goodness!
