RSC2025-December progress

YOUR BLOG NAME

You may recognize this RSC2024 project of mine. It’s FPP with Lori Holt’s Wonky Hearts papers. I used a rainbow layer cake I had, then finally used the hoarded layer cake of Tula Pink Fairy Dust that I was saving for “the perfect project”. The flimsy hung around in the closet & finally got quilted earlier this year using the matching Fairy Dust wide backing which is the same pattern blown up. So cute! Then it hung around in the closet for a few more months when I pulled it out this month & sewed down the binding.

I finally eked out a little time with my sewing machine yesterday, so I cut & started sewing the snowman tabletopper I bought supplies for in the summer. You know, so it would be done in plenty of time for January. (eye roll) Maybe you will see it finished soon. Between Christmas & New Year’s I’m going to finalize my RSC2026 plan. I’ve been noodling around some ideas & need to make decisions for the new year!

Your heart quilt is so pretty! Did you order the foundation papers for it from somewhere? I’m thinking about 2026 plans, too! I have so many ideas swirling around these days that it is hard to narrow it down. Merry Christmas, Sue!

Pretty heart quilt, it got to the finish line slowly, in the end. It will be interesting reading what plans everyone comes up with for RSC 2026. Mine MUST include, finish some of those RSC UFO’S!

Such a pretty and fun heart quilt! I hear you; sometimes it takes ages to do the last stitches on a quilt. RSC 2026; I’m still in the ‘thinking box’. I’m drowning in RSC blocks from the last 2-3 years and I know very well I should not start anything new! …she said… lol

https://www.fatquartershop.com/lori-holt-10-inch-heart-quilt-paper This is where I got the paper packs. They were super fun to make & low stress. I am trying to so hard to reign myself in that I’m just turning off my brain on it until after Christmas. Then I can think straight & smart. LOL Merry Christmas, Diann!

I’m well aware it’s a losing battle on not starting anything new. So I think I’m going to give myself permission to do one or two new RSC projects, then UFO all over the place. That’s where my head is today. LOL
