I made two Scraptastic Stars by Melissa Corry this month so that I could have orange & peach. The Scrap Stash Plus blocks are from a free pattern by Quilty Love & there are only a few left to make to finish this quilt, as I cut them all out in January.
The next 5 Moda Blockheads are done & I’m really loving how these turned out. This leaves one more orange block for next week, so I’m doing well with my progress.
I sewed more Scrappy Chains for the Many Hands and Many Hearts block drive, making a total of 38 to send off. Instructions here if you want to add to Cynthia’s pile.

Wonderful orange blocks. I love the Moda Blockheads blocks. I have enough projects for now so I am only saving all the blocks instruction. Maybe one day, I will run out of project and I will make that one. Haha. Meanwhile, I will admire yours. Enjoy! ;^)
It’s all looking like excellent progress. I’ve only managed to make 2 of the scrappy chain blocks so far, but hope to get a third one done today.
Admire away!! I keep saving the instructions every year, but these are from the first two years! So there are so many more I could make. Yikes!
I totally made an assembly line & power-sewed them. That’s the only reason I got so many done. LOL
I kept finding red & blue fabric that would work & all of a sudden I had piles of cut strips! So lots got made. Why so much red & blue?? Inquiring minds want to know.
Ohhh those orange stars – love them!! that is a great block!!
