The eleventh annual What’s In A Name challenge is once again hosted by The Worm Hole. I began the fun in 2009 so I played again, although in keeping with my One Little Word for this year, LIGHTEN, I pared down my reading challenges. This fun challenge made the cut & helped me cut down my TBR stacks.

The rules are simple-Read one book from each category during the year.
My books:

  1. The word ‘the’ used twice: The Ship of the Dead (Magnus Chase  and the Gods of Asgard #3), Rick Riordan
  2. A fruit or vegetable: The Beet Queen by Louise Erdrich
  3. A shape: Bedford Square (Charlotte & Thomas Pitt #19), Anne Perry
  4. A title that begins with Z – can be after ‘The’ or ‘A’: The Zookeeper’s Wife, Diane Ackerman
  5. A nationality: My Italian Bulldozer, Alexander McCall Smith
  6. 6. A season: The Summer Before the War, Helen Simonson
