With the last-minute flurry of reading challenge finds at year-end, I carefully looked through and decided to join a few more. Because……why not? This makes my total challenges 14, plus the two from Riedel Fascination that end in Feb 2016. That’s the most I’ve ever joined, so here’s to a great reading year. Reading Road Trip Challenge 2015

Thanks to She’s Got Books on Her Mind for hosting. I did a challenge similar to this in 2012 and managed to get all the states with some work. Since then, I’ve kept track of my states each year in my regular reading and usually get more than half without trying. Because I read a lot of series that are set in the same locale and many books set in England, I don’t have a ton of diversity, so I set my goal for the Wayfarer: 21-30. I got 27 states without doing anything different in my reading and some states got many hits. 2015 Sequel & Prequel Challenge

I signed up for this challenge instead of one about finishing series because I had many ongoing series that I wanted to work on without necessarily finishing any of them. Just can’t get enough of all the fun challenges going up for next year so I’m posting as I go this year instead of  one massive post at the end of December. Some are old ones that I love and some are brand new because I like the mix. But I think this is the end. Newbery Reading Challenge 2015

I completed my challenge goal of the L’Engle level: 15-29 points by getting 17 points. Thanks to Julie of Smiling Shelves for hosting this challenge. Although I only read one winner for my perpetual challenge, a trip to Laura country this year inspired me to take up some of her books and fall in love with that series all over again.
