Mark’s third week out of the MTC, he baptized a lady that he and his companion had tracted out. Elders Carey & Houghton, Irma, Luisa, and two sisters from the ward. Mark baptized and confirmed Luisa in Spanish and said it was a great experience.
Mark
Mark in Texas
Mark called us from the airport Wednesday as he left the MTC for Texas. He sounded good and was so excited to be heading to San Antonio and starting his “real” mission. He loved the MTC, but was ready to be on his way. His mission president took a picture with him that afternoon as he arrived at the mission home and sent it to us via email that night. Modern technology is wonderful! We think he looks great!
Mark Enters MTC
Mark entered the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah this last Wednesday. The night before, he was set apart to be a missionary by our Stake President, President Nilson. We took some pictures afterwards.
Here is Sue putting Mark’s nametag on at the MTC. I guess it is a tradition for the mom to put the nametag on.
We found out that he will be in the MTC learning Spanish for a couple of months. His tentative departure date is July 9.
New Music
I’ve posted a new song on my music page. It’s the first of my own compositions, so I hope you like it! You can listen to it here.
Music
I have created a page on our website where I posted the music I’ve recorded. If you go to my webpage above and click on the link for Mark’s Music, you can visit the web page. On the page, you can listen my music on your web browser, or download it to your computer. I don’t have very much yet, but I’m working on a few things right now in my sparse free time. I would appreciate it very much if you give my music a listen. Hope you enjoy it, thanks!
