Wasatch Melody

June 8, 2008 by Scott Leave a Comment

Brian has played in a string quartet several times for wedding receptions and company parties.  He has decided to provide piano music for wedding receptions and other events.  Brian is an excellent pianist and musician, so this is a great fit for him.  He has started a small business, called Wasatch Melody, in order to solicit business.

In addition to booking events for himself to perform at, he also plans on booking events for others as well.  He knows a number of musicians who can provide harp music, piano music, and string music for all types of special events.

If you know anyone that needs beautiful piano or string music at their wedding reception or company event, please contact Brian.  Of course he can’t travel very far from our home in Utah!  But he is happy to perform here!

Brian 2008 Prom

May 25, 2008 by Scott Leave a Comment

Here are some pictures of Brian attending this year’s Lone Peak High School Prom.  He was on Student Council this year and they planned the prom which was at the Utah State Capitol.  Since he was partly in charge, Sue and I had the opportunity to chaperone.

markMark entered the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah this last Wednesday.  The night before, he was set apart to be a missionary by our Stake President, President Nilson.   We took some pictures afterwards.

Bye Bye Birdie

April 3, 2008 by Sue Leave a Comment

Lone Peak High School just closed its production of the musical "Bye Bye Birdie".  Brian was in the ensemble as a teen and and adult and had lines as the mayor who gives the key to the city to the rock star, Conrad Birdie.  He and his "wife" had some very funny stage business involving her fainting and him dragging her off-stage several times.  They were very funny.  This is the third show he has been in that involved him wearing aging makeup and gray in his hair.
