Celtic Coast 2016 Reading Challenge

Hosted by Riedel Fascination, this challenge brings several countries together to explore the various coasts of the British Isles.

– Look for authors born or residing in Wales, Ireland, Scotland.
– Books in which even a momentary part visits these countries.
– Welsh, Irish, Scottish connections: fictional and non-fiction literature.

2017 Monthly Keyword Reading Challenge

This challenge is hosted by My Soul Called Life and is a challenge I’ve done in the past but took off a couple years to do other challenges. I’m looking again at what I want to do for challenges in my life and I want them to be fun so here I am again.

Six keywords are associated with each month in 2017 and we read one book each month whose title includes one or more of the keywords for that month. The book title chosen can be a variation on one of the keywords. Meaning, we can tweak the keywords.

Cruisin’ Thru the Cozies 2017

This is the seventh annual Cruisin’ thru the Cozies hosted by Yvonne at Socrates’ Book Reviews and 2017 is my 5th year to participate. I read a lot of these and have made the top level long before the year ends. Usually the levels are to read a certain number of books but this year Yvonne is changing it up by making us move out of our comfort zone and read several genres. This is perfect for me as I have a bunch of new-to-me series on my shelves that I have wanted to start and see if I like, but I keep reading my favs instead. What’s In a Name 2017

The tenth annual What’s In A Name challenge is once again hosted by The Worm Hole. I began the fun in 2009 so I’m playing again. I usually manage to finish up this challenge in the first half of the year and this year I am trying to identify books on my shelves now that will fulfill my challenges so that I stick to my TBR stacks.
